With over 20 years of legal experience, attorney Aaron Clefton specializes in ending discrimination against persons with disabilities in three ways.
First, we ensure that the problems our clients faced are fixed so that no one experiences the same thing they experienced in the future.
This can mean making changes the physical layout of their public spaces, such as adding a ramp or accessible restrooms, so that our clients using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or prosthetic limbs can fully enjoy the public place. It can also mean stopping the practice of ejecting service dogs by changing policies and training all staff and management.
Second, after we have fixed the access problems that our clients encountered, we work to obtain reasonable compensation for them.
Unlike the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act, California law requires that Defendants pay damages if they discriminate against a disabled person.
Third, we never charge our clients for our services because the law requires that Defendants pay our attorney fees.
If we win, our fees are paid by Defendants. If we lose, you owe us nothing.
